Sails & Sabres Traits

Explorer – +1 trait bonus on knowledge(history) and Knowledge(geography). One of these is a class skill for you. Also, you gain ChellaChella or Veltane as a bonus language.

Sea Tale Teller – +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy and one type of Perform. One of these is a class skill for you. Once per week you may make a Knowledge(local) DC 15 check to recall a legendary tale. Success grants an additional +1 trait bonus to a check made to influence the crew of a ship.

Salt-blooded – +1 trait bonus to Profession(Sailor) and Perception, one of these is a class skill for you. Once per week, you can reroll a Profession(Sailor) check and take the higher result.

Dirty Fighter – +1 trait bonus to damage with brass knuckles and improvised weapons. Once per encounter, gain +1 trait bonus on a single Dirty Trick combat maneuver.

Officer – +1 trait bonus on Intimidate and Profession(Soldier), one of these is a class skill for you. In addition, once per week you may make a DC 15 Diplomacy or Intimidate check to spur your allies. Success grants a number of allies equal to three times your character level a +1 morale bonus on one saving throw made in the next 24 hours.

Looter’s Eye – +1 trait bonus to Appraise and Perception checks to find concealed objects (including doors and traps). One of these is a class skill for you.

Ezrepellian Born – +1 to Sense Motive, and Sense Motive is a class skill for you. You may make untrained Knowledge(local) checks regarding pirates or the Ezrepellian region.

Fisherman – +1 trait bonus on Knowledge(Nature) and Survival. One of these is a class skill. You gain +1 trait bonus on checks to identify creatures with the Aquatic subtype and their abilities or weaknesses.

Dagger Dodger – +1 trait bonus to Profession(Sailor) and Survival. One of these is a class skill for you. Once per week, you may reroll a Knowledge(local) check relating to the Dagger Coast, keeping the higher result.

Sea-Friend – +1 trait bonus to Swim and Survival. One of these is a class skill for you. In addition, you gain Ciacanth/Skeen or ChellaChella as a bonus language. If you possess the class feature, you gain a +1 trait bonus on Wild Empathy checks involving creatures of the Aquatic subtype.

Hydromage – When casting spells with the [Water] descriptor, you are considered 1 caster level higher and the save DC is increased by +1. In addition, you gain Create Water as a bonus spell upon gaining access to 0-level spells.

Deep Cultist – +1 trait bonus on Swim and Knowledge(Planes). One of these is a class skill for you. Once per day, you may reroll a single saving throw while in, on, or over water connected to the open ocean (rivers, lagoons, and bays, but not land-locked lakes or tubs), keeping the second result. You must spend at least 1 hour per day worshipping the Deep, or suffer a -1 morale penalty to all saving throws for 24 hours.
